How much does it cost to rent a car in Dakar?
Prices start at 30,000 FCFA per day for a sedan and go up to 130,000 FCFA per day for the 15-seat minibus (driver included). 4x4s range from 45,000 FCFA to 65,000 FCFA per day. A driver costs 10,000 FCFA extra per day. FCFA is pegged to the euro (about 656 FCFA = 1 EUR).
Can I pick up the car at Dakar airport (AIBD)?
Yes. Send us your flight number and arrival time on WhatsApp and the vehicle will be waiting at Blaise Diagne International Airport (Diass), including late-night arrivals.
Can I rent with a driver?
Yes, on almost all vehicles for 10,000 FCFA per day. Outside Dakar the driver's lodging and meals are paid by the customer. The minibus is always rented with a driver.
How do I pay?
Wave, Orange Money or cash. Villa bookings can be secured online with a deposit through PayTech (Wave / Orange Money).
